Getting the feel of things

Ok so its officially been 1 week and a day now in Florida and so far so good.

We moved everything in and went to work painting and generally just spiffing the place up a bit, also bought a washer and dryer.

Started learning the lay of the land finding good mexican food, found that the mexican seafood is awesome (I'm getting hunrgy just thinking about it)

The apartments are real quite and there are a lot of dog people and that makes me happy, in fact I'm very suprised at how many people are ok with dogs I've never had so many strangers come up and say high to charlie.

The most annoying thing so far is the traffic, it gets packed real quick and it seems all the major express ways are toll roads and expensive toll roads at that, there seems to be a toll every 2 miles or so its completely ridiculous.

On the plus side the weather has been great so far, hasn't gotten over 80. The area has a good feel, very tropical looking which is a nice change. Charlie thinks she's on vacation, there are so many lizards and squirrels to chase and new things to sniff, she won't leave us alone about going back outside.

So about Full Sail, we went to a behind the scenes tour yesterday and got to talk with several of the Game Development instructors. They tried to scare people with annoucements of the amount of math involved and nudge them toward an art program but of course that just got me more excited. They said things that I have been saying for years like - collision detection is hard, and - you describe everything through math, and - it takes a lot of problem solving skills. Sounds like fun to me.

So orientation is on the 3rd, I will definitely update then.
Here are some pictures of the apartment and stuff

The Kitchen/Dining room area
Check out the stone work I did that! Charles if you read this maybe you can give me some extra pointers.
